I think enough people have been identified through the various media reports to dispute the 95%. A quick google search should suffice
In any case all I am saying is blindly jumping to the assumption the OP must be lying or some kind of fraudster simply reflects badly on Monzo and it’s community
Sadly from what I have seen of this ‘community’ it seems to be the norm, guilty until proven innocent and it seems to be from the usual lifers that sit on here all day everyday.

You know what id love, if for every one of these threads that were spun up someone from monzo could come on and give the final verification.

These threads serve little to no purpose. If you want to give off about monzo closing accounts please coral crew keep them to the one thread 
I still be interested in any links which you found particularly convincing. I had the opposite opinion, that the media made a lot out of this and in the end it turned out to just be a Facebook group run by fraudsters complaining about their accounts being closed. So maybe I missed the stories disproving Tom’s statistics (which I assume Tom got from Monzo’s systems which track this kind of thing, as opposed to canvasing a bunch of randos on the internet).

I honestly don’t know if that’s sarcasm so I apologise if it’s not.
On the basis Monzo can’t do that I just think the threads should be flagged and closed immediately instead of allowing people to debate something which can never be resolved here
I wish I knew, but if you look at their posting activity it looks suspiciously like people who have been banned before. If we had proper moderation on here, people creating second or sock puppet accounts would be caught, as they used to be.

It is typical of this place it is why I was sceptical of joining in the first place.
