I think I paid more than £3k in one go when I was settling the last of my loan.
Are you sure you have £3k clear in your account, after bills, and it won’t take you in to your overdraft?

You’d need to have the extra funds available, and you can’t use your overdraft to cover the extra repayment, it needs to be your own funds.
