🐎 Lloyds Banking Group Chat

New club Lloyds silver replacement is a standard Lloyds card, not even a club Lloyds reference

Pondering going for the £200 bonus as I think, despite me having previously had money from Halifax within the disqualifying timeframe, I’ve since moved and now have a different Lloyds account & password to the one I had at my old address where I also had a Halifax account. Do you think they’d see me as a ‘new’ customer (new as in not had money before, not as in new to the bank)?.

Is the Apple Pay the new design/colour/wording though?

We don’t talk about Apple Pay. :joy:

Doesn’t work for me.

Oh dear my bad.

Well I also got a regular card, not a Club Lloyds one and the Apple Pay is just the same:

Interestingly I can’t view my card details in the app and still can’t add to Apple Pay via the app (but can via Apple Wallet directly).

You think that Lloyds is getting rid of their Standard Card Stock?

Before the new cards being to be sent out?

It looks that way. Which is a bit of a shame.

I’m still not convinced they will have horizontal cards but I do hope they do!

I was surprised to be honest.

They only started with the vertical cards recently and now they going back to horizontal. Its strange!!!

I received the usual platinum version yesterday. Upgraded from classic to club platinum.

Obviously seems to be hit and miss. I would have thought that anyone with Platinum would at least have Platinum on their Apple Pay card.

Standard Lloyds Platinum card for me.

What I will do is wait a month and then “lose” the card and then hopefully the new ones are being sent out then

The new designed cards aren’t even scheduled for release yet…

Anyone utilising Lloyds 360 here?

I presume the £5 discount on the Platinum account is the only real benefit?

(I note that discount is now mentioned on the product page without any mention of 360.)

I believe £5 discount if you pay in extra was always there. I get this monthly for my club platinum account whereas Lloyds 360 is a mass affluent proposition (similar to Barclays premier) where you get a 360 design card and some other benefits. I don’t think 360 is available widely (yet).
