I can barely cope with the new forward facing horse. Just seems too untrustworthy now
‘A forward-facing horse is wild and unconstrained, which maybe isn’t what many people are looking for in a trusted financial institution,’ Mr Young wrote on the jobs site LinkedIn.
'The original horse is in a ‘regardant’ position, a heraldic term for the animal looking back over its shoulder.
‘That position is akin to a horse being vigilant,’ Mr Young said. ‘A quality you might want in a bank.’
For them to keep Ant and Dec for so long, I’m guessing those adverts have helped bring more money to Santander.
But this horse is basically going to ruin Lloyds. There’s no way I can see anyone staying with them considering the horse is facing the wrong way now. Just makes a joke of the entire brand.

I suspect that they will be ending the relationship in due course. Santander have changed their ad agency and so will be making new, different, ads soon.
What Ant did wasn’t good, but I really don’t care who employs him. That is just a deal between him and his employers.
And I really wasn’t being serious about the Lloyds horse. I personally prefer the new one. Always thought the neck looked a bit odd on the old one. I was just trying to point out how ridiculous the article was being
Makes sense. Will be interesting to see the style they go with next considering how they are changing the imagery across their website with more “cool” images (don’t know how else to describe many of the them) and graffiti writing.
Whenever I’ve watched a Lloyds Bank ad, the horse has always been running with their head facing forwards. Never seen it look over it’s shoulder ever. Not even once
And when I use my cards or apps, I don’t focus on the logos, just the numbers
In other words, it sounds very much like a “first world problem” to me, for some

I was more pissed off when they changed Marathon to Snickers.

Get yourself down to Morrisons or McColls.
From 10 August, Mars Wrigley has reintroduced the classic chocolate bar under its original name, at Morrison’s and McColls stores.

I saw this but thought it was a temporary change. It was changed to Snickers to align with the USA market.

It is. For three months from the beginning of August - so at the beginning of November you can go back to being annoyed.
