I bought something earlier this morning and could swear my balance didn’t change for hours.

Lloyds app new look in the everyday offers section

I thought I was going a bit daft when I seen this earlier today. It looks good.

Do you activate all offers?

Yes I do. I sometimes see tracked ones that I had completely forgotten about.

Wonder whether the challenges that they will release will just be like what’s already been seen e.g Free Hot drink / Food, 1 P saving challenge etc…

Free coffee would be nice, at a Nero not Greggs cuz everyone does Greggs. Octopus lets you choose but those Nero codes go so fast!

IWeb has now transformed to Scottish Widows after the delay from the scheduled date of 18 October. No app yet and the web portal looks exactly the same, only rebranded. They still want to know my father’s first name!

Just like Nationwide asked for my mother’s maiden name.

Yes. Be interesting to see what comes next. I’m not so sure the big wheel adds all that much value for now.

Have notifications always been formatted in this manner? Always had it in my memory that they were caps in the notification too, like HSBC.

The app still has all caps :face_vomiting: and incoming payment sender names are all caps.

Think it’s always been like that. Maybe the merchant is in capaitals sometimes but the rest is normally like your screenshot

In app it’s all caps as it always has been.

Also linked Lloyds to trends and pending transactions seemingly show this instead of just being greyed out like with Chase:

Mine was like that, but then changed either that day or next day to the merchant however it was still pending as i couldn’t change the category

Spoke too soon :joy:

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed the merchant being in caps, at least unlike HSBC it isn’t all caps and doesn’t burn your eyes out of your skull when they arrive.

HSBC just need to focus on merchant name not location or reference and they’d be ok.

I quite like that they put the location. If you saw a transaction pop up for a location that you’ve not made a purchase at, it’s a useful prompt.

Location isn’t reliable. It’s dependent on where the processor puts the merchant data.

Location there should be closer to the merchant name. The line break results in a weird gap which they haven’t implemented into notifications like they have the app. At least put a - between instead.
