Just telling you what she said I know it’s crap maybe a grain of truth in there somewhere tho
No, because the latest is they’re working on it.
There is no update.
Got my OTP to access the app today, hoo-boy that’s a lot of stuff on that UI!
It’s an interesting design, it’s kinda janky that a lot of the stuff seems to be webviews, but seems ok. What shocked me was they pulled in my workplace pension info so that’s there for some reason, I guess they’re part of the same group.
I’m not that impressed about how the premier benefits selection thing seems to be in a separate login/section outside of the app.
My plan at the moment is to just use this account for the 1% cashback offer and if I need to withdraw cash for tradies who whine/cry a lot if you ask to do a card or bank transfer payment, but from what I’ve seen so far I’m probs not going to CASS to Lloyds for my main account.
If you don’t mind me asking, who is your other account/do you think is better?
The FT has an article about Jo Harris who heads the “mass affluent” division of Lloyds. She’s leaving less than two weeks after the launch of Premier, which she called “a game changer”.
The card is game changer, not sure what else is
the app is still dysfunctional, notifications still delayed, the perks non comparable to other Premier products.
Maybe she meant it was a game changer for her ![]()
Here’s the half assed product, bye.
Just had a call from Lloyds Premier, no security completed the start of the call. She wanted to discuss financial planning with me which I refused and said well you didn’t do any security the start of the call.
She asked how I feel about the Premier card to which I explained I do love it.
But then went on to say about the Apple Pay issue hundreds online moan about, apparently she’s not heard anything about it.
I basically said well if I need you I will contact you, and if Lloyds don’t sort the Apple Pay problem I will probably just go elsewhere as it’s a basic requirement for some people and if Lloyds can’t get that right, I feel they won’t get the full Premier Product right.
What kind of number are they using? I don’t answer phone calls from a number I don’t recognise but I’ve been getting a few every week from different phone numbers each time. I’d assume Lloyds would leave a voice message.

Easily the best ‘feature’ of Premier so far. I’ve had the ‘Financial planning’ type calls from HSBC in the past, mostly they just wanted to check I had enough products with them which I’d imagine will be the same with Premier.
I’ve also had the need to ring the ‘dedicated’ premier line which clearly isn’t again - the agent I spoke to was very helpful.
Will review over the next few months and see if I still feel I’m getting value.
I did ask about upcoming additions to Premier and she didn’t have a clue, only to try and upsell me financial products.
If anyone gets a call from this team, please ask them about the ‘dedicated premier customer support team’ lol
I have RBS Premier Black, same here. A call in my case a video call with a real person who asked about income/expenses life goals etc and then tried to sell me on their expensive investment products.
I explained I was only allowed to invest through approved brokers and he said that’s ok, just let me know if you need anything.
She said it comes with the Premier team.
Said well that’s a lie because when I called I got passed around like a parcel and nobody said anything about premier.
Don’t think the call went in her favour tbh.
No security and wanting to discuss financial situations and goals? No ta.
I have been caught out by the silly nomenclature of Lloyds bank account names Platinum and Club Platinum, Silver and Club Silver.
I honestly thought there was one Platimum account and guess what I chose for the change? Platimum instead of Club platinum.
I am now unable to change it in the app.
I recently downgraded from Club Platinum to Club Lloyds so that I could give Premier a go without having issues someone went through but then changed my mind.
I had already received my Club Lloyds cards, Platimum is in the post and I obviously won’t keep it as it is Club Platinum I wanted.
Yes I made changes Sunday night, only found out few minutes ago as my Disney+ was asking me to subscribe.
Edit: Tried chat, but as usual someone didn’t take time to read my problem.
Called and was sorted in minutes.
Long live that green horse bank ![]()
She has been calling me for three weeks now but I never pick. I listen to her voicemails and ignore.
Is it the same lady calling everyone? That doesn’t sound very 'Premier" ![]()
