Same here, with Lloyds I only enabled email but still get these random calls

I’ve long had the call option disabled in the app marketing section (long winded way of saying I opted out) however just got a text that a lady would be calling me in a few hours “to discuss my premier account”.

I see they still haven’t fixed the dark mode bug meaning you’re forced to the wider phone setting vs personal preference.

Hopefully that will be fixed soon, I really can’t stand dark mode especially when half the app isn’t.

Also the new version appears to have broken transactions. Half the time now they don’t load the details properly (showing cleared date only) and the map is very intermittent.

Have reported in app but feels like each update breaks it more and more currently.

Lloyds app working fine in iOS 26 Beta one including transactions. Nice :slight_smile:

I think all bank apps are working fine tbh.

the BoS and Halifax apps now have a ‘part of the same family’ splash screen animation - I think this only went live for me in the last few days.

Got a notification last night telling me I needed to add more money for the payments leaving my account the next day. Never seen this before, well requested by me because it’s so useful.

I’ve seen similar with I think NatWest but I agree it’s a nice feature.

Lloyds notifications seem to have reached a good level of stability and even the DD ones are in time. I also think it’s one of the more modern “legacy bank” apps out there.

Just wish the customer service was more consistent, lots of friendly people when you have to speak to them but massive differences in capability and knowledge.

It’s also noted that customer service wise. If you select the premier support button in the app, (question mark top right, then scroll down) Premier simply gets you to the front of the queue. It does not direct you to a dedicated premier team.

Which’d be fine if they didn’t tout it as one of the benefits - it’s a little disingenious to call it a ‘dedicated Lloyds premier team’ when it clearly isn’t’ - I mind only because that was one of the things that made HSBC a truly ‘Premier’ experience - call straight away and to a dedicated team (which I always suspected was really the FD team)

Also to say it’s exclusive to premier for savings rates when it’s just the club Lloyds ones is also misleading.


On a plus point the other areas of premier are pretty good, the card is nice, and the additional features are quite interesting. @Peter_G this has the manual net worth additions you always wanted.

Have you had any issues with your cards in Apple Pay? I remember when I had the beta iOS 18 it wouldn’t let me add any Lloyds / Halifax cards, the minute iOS was released it was fine
Really want to get onto 26 beta but a bit worried haha

It’s not a beta issue it’s a Lloyds issue.

I think the issues are separate. I had the card add issue on beta which the moment I updated to full release, then disappeared. I have also independently since had the issue others here have, which weirdly was resolved by getting a new phone
