In theory nobody should be worried, they are a bank and they are covered by the FSCS protection scheme.

I think it’s the technical challenges that people have experienced on here that have put people off.

I wondered if people had not heard or experienced those then they might feel differently?

I think it’s a bit of both. The App, I think, is super clunky and feels like it has been thrown together without real thought as to what each section should do.

And then there’s the service. It took 2 days each time I reached out to support to get anything. I appreciate they are early doors but they’re too basic and unconnected for me.

I expect they’ll be acquired for the licence soon.

Super naive question, but why wouldn’t Revolut do exactly that, i.e. acquire Kroo for the licence? Guessing it’s not that simple.

I would imagine there’d be some sort of regulatory oversight and approval with any takeover, and they’d probably just say nice try but no. Otherwise I’d have expected them to have done so already.

I’ve had no issues with Kroo..

Was using them as a ā€˜savings account’ for a period of time until I switched over to Chip.

So I am still using Kroo and things seemed to have really improved. However, today really is it.
My salary has been flagged for review AGAIN!

I’ve now received an in-app chat advising me to confirm the full name of the organisation which is easy enough but also the date of birth of the sender.

Absolutely unbelieable. Currently in a queue to get through to their support… 22 mins and counting

Lesson learnt this time though!
I get paid via BACS.

The ridiculous thing is the transaction clearly had my employer name on it so the follow up message was literally to type the exact same name on the transaction which I am not sure what that would even have proved in all honesty!

Just thought I’d keep you all posted on the latest update to my Kroo saga!
I had referred the complaint they might or might not have upheld to the obudsman and we’re now in the final stages… They are just awaiting some information being sent over from Kroo.

Why do I have the feeling that might take a while!!

No intervention needed… I just have the app still installed and got a notification haha!!
I left them last month after my salary shambles :slight_smile:

(I am still waiting on a reply from them regarding this mind you… the message was send on the 27th April so I’ve gave up expecting a reply now)

From memory withdrawals take an hour or so to land in your account (I think).
