This is what you really wanted it for, right?
More for their female audience I guess
Might be alone with this but it feels like their target audience is mostly women.
Nope you’re not I’ve seen other online saying the exact same that the entire brand gives off a more feminine feel maybe partially because of the card and app colour as well as the way their products do seem to mainly aim to target the female audience.
I do think it’s stigma though it’s like the whole men can’t wear pink shirts argument unless they’re really confident in themselves which I disagree with personally. Plenty of men who don’t mind wearing certain colours it means nothing to me anyway.
Won’t find me avoiding Klarna just because the cards are a bit feminine
Their branding is on point really, I do like the cards but cannot justify the pricing.
Unsure if 0.5% cashback would encourage me as a customer, I’d want the metal card if anything, so £20pm I couldn’t justify.
Would rather go revolut metal for £140pa.
Yeah I do feel that also, the pricing for what they’re offering is a bit high. If I were doing it, without more details on the travel points conversion rates I think I’d certainly be taking the offer of cash for any cashback over travel points especially seeing RevPoints and the way Revolut do theirs.
Wish Revolut offered cashback like in the early days, was never on the metal plan where it was cashback on day to day card spending but used to get mad cashback on Stays. Got 13.3% back once back in the day which was like £32 at the time.
Now we get RevPoints for vague redemption rates
I’ve made a fair bit on cashback.
This weeks reward for using your debit card was a £5 gift card at Sainsbury’s. Really handy.
you also get monthly credits at boots etc. and if you travel it’s a no brainer. The fee pays for itself.
The furthest I travel to is the office. And nobody is offering cashback on Merseyrail ![]()
Totally agree. This points thing needs to be ditched.
If you can book your tickets on trip.com you’d get 3.5% each time.
According to Klarna UK 60% of their customers are women and 64% are aged 16-24, average balance is just £150 so a period tracker probably fits their demographic only 1% of user are over 35
That’s very interesting. I’m sure with these new membership tiers (and their cost) they are definitely looking to change that.
Just by way of context. Just saw this on Klarna in France.

Looks to be the same as Revolut. Is it Gigs?
Yes. Says so in the terms.
If it’s the same as the US they’ll offer a discount dependant on the account membership you have.
The last thing I want is Klarna mobile
It is interesting that all these financial services companies seem to be getting into mobile. I wouldn’t have thought the margins would be particularly good on what is now essentially a commodity, but clearly that isn’t the case if they all see an opportunity.
For the 20GB Global roaming per month. I’ll be giving it a try.
Monzo are also mid setting up their mobile service. I hope it’s not Vodafone though.
Yup, exactly my point!
