No, Prepaid cards will discontinue in favour or current accounts and as prepaid was only for testing they were run through a third party and that cost.
No, that card is in a different series and uses external services that are going to be terminated in a few months. As a result, it’s not linked with the Current Accounts and won’t work

Hi folks
Now that my current account card has arrived, will my prepaid card continue to work? Can I keep it as a spare…in case I lose my current account card whilst on holiday for example?

No.
The card will cease as the prepaid account is now effectively closed.

if you have activated your current account card the answer is no it won’t continue to work 
if you haven’t activated your new CA card the PP will continue until you do or until start of next year whichever is sooner
