Sensible post! Hopefully those who remember the days of £100 ‘deposits’ on the beta card will know that’s no longer a thing

Not sure if just me but the section below reads as if spending on the card is free only up to £200/month
Although it does clarify it lower down

Agreed, Jack. I read it as “Spending up to £200 is free”, which is misleading. Especially given the font that drags my full attention, I would not necessarily get into the bullet points which contradict to what has been said in large font.

Agreed, it can be interpreted both ways for sure.
I know spending on the card is the primary use case, but moving the £200/month away from the spend is a bit clearer:
When you’re abroad, withdrawing cash up to £200/month and spending with your card is free.

Yep, I’ve been in Spain for a week and haven’t made a withdrawal once.
Even the guy collecting money on the beach for the sun loungers has a sumup card reader.
