Mines green still the gift pic
Out of interest are you using the TestFlight version of the app.
When I’m using the public release it’s blue but when I switch to TestFlight it’s green
I’m on public and mines always been blue
Think you’ve nailed it there. I’m on Android beta and it’s green. To really prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt, I should revert to public release. But, naaah.
Everyone else using Android public release (non-beta) seeing the blue gift icon?
I am using TestFlight
Well, my neon pink card didn’t last very long. It’s mostly been in my wallet, in an ATM once and out and about occasionally. I looked at it today and I realised its gone two tone…
It’s not too easy to spot on camera, but in real life it’s super noticeable and when you see it, you can’t unsee it.
What do I replace it with?
EDIT: @Revels is right. Since I used the wallet for the most part I’ll just keep it for now
*Option 3.
Don’t replace it. It’s just a card and it still works fine.
Mine morphed and the chip fell out in the heatwave. I’ve gone back to hot coral lol
Photos or it didn’t happen.
Sounds crazy.
I don’t have the card shell anymore. I do have a new card en route. I’ve posted the morphed card pictures already above.
Ah, I was looking for the chip missing from it
I’ll see if the missus has not thrown it away yet when I get home if it’s not in the bin I’ll get a picture
You can’t see it on the photo but in reality it looks like someones drawn a faint line across it and switched to a lighter colour. Think old red car where the bonnet doesn’t match the wings.
I had to “edit” it to try to show it (it’s super obvious in real life but much less so on camera) but hopefully this does it. Basically looks like tape has been applied to a section of the card and it’s been left to fade in the sun, except it hasn’t. It didn’t used to have this and it’s not in line with wallet damage. Strange
They are really poor build quality.
Had a quick fiddle in Pixlr, found desaturating the image showed a clear line of difference:
Bit strange, and understandably annoying. But not sure if it’s something I’d replace a card over myself.
Yeah I’m going to keep it for now
I have no picture the card is already in the bin. The best I can describe is the chip no longer sat in the space it should and was coming off the plastic card. Shouldnt of left it out in the heat
I’d never heard a card doing this.
It was some heat though glad it’s been raining all day!
My White Metal Premium card demonstrated a similar discoloration after being in my minimalist wallet after only 2 weeks - which could be viewed as ‘wallet damage’, except the discoloration happened to the exposed area which never touched the wallet
It’s VERY minor, but I can see it.
So now I’m on a card for a few years and will switch to another White metal at the end to fix that. #wasteful
