Does the offer stay there for a while after you’ve reviewed it and decided not to bother. I’m assuming after a set amount of time it’ll just disappear

Offer should stay valid for 30 days - in this window there’s a very small chance it would change.
After this we’ll perform a new soft credit search, income verification and affordability check which is likely to give the same result but has a higher chance of changing.

really looking forward to this. I’ve always wanted a credit facility that breaks down each purchase into its own payment plan. Rather than having one mass lump of debt.

You have to be “engaged” with Monzo, too, whatever that means.
When did you sign up? I was thinking I was reasonably quick doing it on 20/9, but evidently not as no invite yet

It’s the only bank I use, have my salary paid in and all my DD’s out etc etc - also a premium member. So I probably meet that criteria, so I’m assuming it’s just I wasn’t as quick as I thought 
no big deal though, just like playing with new things but I can wait ha

On the day it went live, it was on social media by the time I signed up so it wasn’t super earlier like some of those on here cause it was posted here first but it was mid afternoon on that first day - no big deal though I’m just keen to play around with it really it’s no drama

This ihas put me off. I’m sure Klarna have never done a hard search on me, just a Soft one.
Surely it’s also a hard search once the credit is given to you, same as Monzo ? I doubt klarna are giving credit without a hard search - but like Monzo do a soft search first to indicate eligibility?

Exactly this! Klarna currently do for some of their products but not all…
We have to do them when we give out credit. 
But for Flex we’ll only do one when you initially take out Flex then not again.
It will be interesting to see if Klarna et al. need to start performing hard searches on all their products as a result of the Woolard Review - and if they do if they do it on every purchase as each purchase is technically a new credit agreement. They’re going to be required to report the accounts - not sure about hard searches though.

Takes as long as it takes to be honest. You’ll get an email and an app notification once the invite has landed for you to sign up.
