Yes, we got our “Family & Friends” railcard through Monzo.
Not all Senior Railcard holders are “pensioners” you know…
You can obtain two together through the same channel.
I’m interested in upgrading to Monzo Max, but the worldwide travel insurance excludes all pre-existing medical conditions and doesn’t give the option to declare them, even for an extra premium.
This is a major blocker for me upgrading to Max.
Other packaged accounts from banks like Nationwide, Lloyds and TSB do allow customers to declare and cover certain stable conditions. This makes their cover more flexible and suitable for a wider range of travellers.
I think Monzo should explore:
-
Allowing customers to declare and cover stable conditions for an additional cost, or
-
Partnering with an insurer that offers this flexibility.
This change could make Max a far more attractive product for many customers who otherwise have to look elsewhere for comprehensive travel cover.
Has anyone else come up against this limitation, and would you support Monzo adding this option?
