So, this has probably been discussed somewhere in the 2000+ posts about this, but I’ve just signed up for Max because it was actually cheaper for Max with RAC cover, than I’m paying for GreenFlag.

However, before I go and arrange to cancel GreenFlag - is there anything I need to do to register with RAC? There’s nothing in the app other than a ‘report breakdown online/call them’ option.

Ive tried to sign up with the myRAC app - but it just asks me for my name and car registration and then says it can’t find my policy (even though I did say when I signed up that I had it through my bank account).

Is this normal? will ‘stuff’ happen over the next 24 hours when Monzo tells the RAC I’ve signed up and I’ll get more info?

If you click on Max at the bottom and then scroll to the ‘breakdown’ tab - it gives you your policy number. It should then take you into the RAC app from the Monzo app :slight_smile:

At the moment I can see the policy number - but it’s not clickable to go to the RAC app. If I click the ‘report online’ option it says it can take a couple of hours to setup the account to report online and if I need to report a breakdown now I’ll need to give them a call directly instead.

So, looks like I’m just being impatient and it takes a few hours to setup everything.

Got a question regarding the plans - if you open a savings pot at a higher rate whilst you are paying for perks - does it automatically lower if you stop paying for a plan?

Yeah, you lose the 0.5% boost as soon as your plan expires.

Hi, new here. I have Monzo Max and found the section to add my phone details for insurance purposes. Question is does anyone know where to add the families details as i can’t seem to find it in the app. Thanks

I think you can just make the claim for them, your details don’t need to be registered.

Quick question about railcards (which, probably has been answered somewhere in this thread already - but it’s quite a big thread and I couldn’t see it!).

  1. Does the offer cover all the Railcards available through TheTrainline - not just the student or pensioner ones (like the ‘Two-together’ one specifically being the one I’m interested in).
  2. Once you’ve bought it, do you have to buy all your train tickets through the TheTrainline app/website or can you use it at stations/on other apps?

Don’t know about 1 but no there is no requirement to use trainline app.
