Anyone else who has upgraded to max + family having issues getting the credit insights to work. I keep getting this error message after waiting for ages where it says sit tight, it’ll only take a moment.

On the other hand, burnt absolutely screams ‘premium’ to me, as it’s precisely the type of descriptive colour naming you’d get with fancy paints and pigments.
The only negative for me, and I wouldn’t really call it a negative as such, and doubt many others reading here would make the connection, is that it reminds me of Brent Sienna.
I was earlier
As Monzo seem to be calling the ‘original’ Bold Coral, surely this frees up the red card to be Hot Coral!
Bold Coral is different from the regular Coral for free and Extra plans.
To be honest, I think it needed this to get people to consider it again
I assume that Plus and Premium had high churn rates before, I wasn’t that impressed with Premium but the onboarding for Max was amazing, it cleared a lot of things up, especially about what I can and can’t claim on my insurance. I can’t say the same for when I signed up to Premium.
The Greggs and Trainline benefits will definitely start to be appreciated by people as the use them weekly
Thank you. Maybe lots of people trying to use it
This is a remarkable post, you and the team should be so proud! Any complaint I could have is redundant since you’re telling us we can stay on our existing plans until we cancel.
The stats and amount of user research is a huge feat - as a product person myself I’m a little jealous. This is a great step in an ever evolving industry, and Monzo is always adapting to the change.
Well done!
Thanks for the kind feedback @denby182, I’ll share it with the team!
How many claims for phone insurance with family add on? Can’t find
Sunset Coral
Hey @Mogolent, you can find the Worldwide Phone Insurance (for family) Ts&Cs here.
You can make up to 4 claims in any 12-month period. The claims limit includes any claims made by the plan owner or family members.
I think I have to stick to premium for now. I’ve got a trip coming up (well 2 actually) and to have the same travel protection I’d have to pay £7 more to ensure my partner is covered too.
I get the family element, but it’s a backward step for me to have taken partner off when travelling together by default.
Also the Railcard is super useful, but I have one that expires in Feb, so I don’t see the benefit of paying the extra to maintain the same cover as currently and not make use of this.
By the time I’m back from travels, I’m hoping @rossmonzo you’ll have made some inroads into joint accounts personally I think I’d rather have max for Joint
Generally though I like the new products, just not for me, or at least not for me right now
I don’t take using feedback from 45k people as just creating something from a survey, pretty reductive thinking. User research brings in a load of different ways of getting information and then how it’s sympathised.
Do they not have social lives? Plenty of friends for example travel by train to football matches, and buying a railcard will work for them.
Also loads of people in the network railcard area
Happy to pay an extra £2 for Max for a few months until I age out.
I would have some sympathy for that point of view if anything original or innovative was produced as an output.
But if you have a very complex feedback model incorporating the views of 45k people and come up with something that sounds a lot like the student account I was offered by HSBC 20 years ago, then I’d suggest your feedback process isn’t really worth doing.
It looks nothing like a Midlands students account, and trust me, I had one.
seem to be a line of thinking the only group of people who use railcards are kids and the old, because it doesn’t fit the narrow needs of a few single men on a message board
Thanks for quick reply. Upgraded to Max Family. Assurant website allows to register only one device…
