How to create instant access savings pot in my child 16/17 account?

This page says 16/17 year old bank accounts can create an instant access savings pot with interest:

But I can’t see how to do that anywhere in his or my app on iPhone. Are they just a regular pot? I can create a regular pot but there’s no mention of savings.

Looks like the flexible saver onwards isn’t meant for the child’s account page.

They can have Pots but not savings pots, you’d see it in the app if it was available.

I have had a reply from Monzo and they say it is not available for 16-17 year olds and that information is for my current account. They dont seem to understand the content on their website. this web page is clearly to do with 16-17 year olds and nothing to do with my own account. Their marketing information is actually wrong!

Monzo 16–17 accounts can’t open Instant Access Savings Pots with interest, despite what the website may suggest.

Our 17yo opened an IASP and gets 3.25% interest paid into it. She received 1p last month. Kerching.
