Thanks for the fast replies! Peace

No worries!

To end on a slightly more positive note, they do have an API but I’m not sure what is possible with it.

+2 for Garmin Pay!!!

Also… Revolut is a participating bank, so Monzo you should keep up your game!

Revolut isn’t a bank…

Adding my support for this feature.
Wearable tech is getting more and more popular, there’s no reason a digital bank such as Monzo wouldn’t support features like Garmin Pay.

There is. It’s further up in the topic

Garmin is now the number 2 or 3 smart watch vendor,

Monzo used to be a leader and now seems to be falling behind all others in the sector, maybe its getting a bit too big…

No, emotional blackmail won’t work either :joy:

I’m the 2nd richest person in the world if you only count my household. You can always make numbers look in your favour to support your argument, but how about this one…

The analytics company issued a report on Thursday claiming that Apple holds a 55% market share in the smartwatch category followed by Samsung with about 14%. Garmin rose to the third position with 8% of smartwatch sales.

It isn’t worth the time or effort from Monzo for such a low number of people.

Get Curve, use Monzo as the primary source = problem solved.

I did that in January. I can pay with my Forerunner from Monzo account which is great. The only trouble is that these purchases are reported in Monzo as online transactions often with a retailer name crippled and almost always a wrong location on map.

Will Monzo be participating with Garmin pay anytime soon?

Thanks!

No.

Maybe we’re going back to the barter system? Is a Garmin watch worth more than a litre of oat milk?

Wholly discredited by the likes of David Graeber et al, but such a persistent myth.
