Funding Circle and Monzo

I have just attempted to add my Monzo bank account to my Funding Circle account to enable me to desposit and withdraw funds. I am required to verify the account by way of a screenshot, download or scan of a paper online bank statement showing:

  • name or company name
  • address
  • account number
  • sort code
  • name of the bank
  • a date within 3 months of current

I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe the app displays all of the above, so I am unable to take a screenshot and provide it for Funding Circle to verify the account.

I have raised this issue with Funding Circle, so I’m hoping they will be able to advise, especially as I know some of their employees use Monzo.

I would imagine this will be a reoccurring theme for various service providers, therefore a form of exportable statement will be essential for Monzo current account users.

I did the screenshots above, the account was verified, and I successfully withdrew funds last week.

Thanks. I have forwarded FC three Monzo screenshots, so hopefully that will be sufficient.

Just to confirm, the screenshots were fine and my Monzo account was authorised. I have successfully withdrawn funds from Funding Circle accordingly
