Full original transaction details (open banking transactions)

Please could you add all of the transaction details you receive to my transaction history (edit: for open banking transactions)?

You can hide it behind a “more details” button or similar to keep things tidy…but I want to see it.

Personally I’d like to see everything you get - but as a minimum please share the actual merchant name/any other merchants details you receive. You frequently use this and other data to guess a “friendly name” but get it wrong. I feed this back. Sometimes you fix it. But I don’t want to have to spend 10mins researching where I bought something at merchant ABC when I didn’t actually buy anything there….I bought something at similarly named (but totally distinct) merchant BBC. You receive the data saying “mrchntABC” or similar that is actually more useful in this case.

Scroll to the very bottom of the transaction. It’s there.

This is hardly ever the case though, surely 0.01% of the time is pushing it.

it’s usually MERCHANT NAME LTD converted to Merchant Name

Ah I think what I’ve realised is it’s missing for open banking transactions as a lot of my recent transactions were on an external credit card.

Not all of the available detail is there for Monzo transactions but the main merchant name is.

So yes apologies this request is specifically for open banking feed transactions

I’d say it happens for me every time I go away for a weekend or on a bigger holiday at least a couple of times. Basically any time in using lots of unfamiliar merchants over a couple of days or longer - especially outside of major UK cities.
