Google the title if you get paywall

It starts like this:

Tom Blomfield has just been cleaning up his glass-walled kitchen in east London, where he treated a co-founder of his company to breakfast. β€œI managed to tip half the scrambled eggs over the floor,” he grimaces

And a screenshot (Sorry FT :flushed:)

Blomfield selects his Bodum coffee grinder which starts whirring loudly after the photographer opts for a black coffee. The countertop quake is quelled as its owner sets up an elaborate contraption through which to filter the product. For a man whose company champions simplicity, it’s quite a mission for a single cup.

Writing like that makes my eyes roll.

Yeah, it is overwrought. Glass-walled kitchen, wooden table, glass-fronted wine cabinet. What material is his sofa made from? I MUST KNOW

@Jim1701, next all hands question?

(Rachel Raybould) #5

I think that would be a great question!

(Tony) #6

Wine cabinet indeed. Mine’s more of a wine queue. A really short, and fast-moving queue.

(Phil) #7

This is the reason I have an FT account: for photos of Tom’s apt!
Such great content.

Wait! @tom’s got a Boden grinder? :joy:

(James Amey) #9

Why do I always get asked to ask the troll questions? :joy:

An aeropress?!
