Would be great to see a feature where a group could contribute to a kitty/ shared pot. Possibly while on a group holiday. Then a virtual card could then be used for spending. Would anyone else use this?
Itâs an idea so bad that Monzo shelved it.

What if you fall out with the group and they take all the money? Who do you complain to?
Monzo donât want that stress.

It would be split evenly so if you left youâd take your share. No arguments

To be honest I think it would be a good feature. Thatâs why Iâve suggested it. 
I guess if you could only take out what you pay in then thatâs an option.
Itâs overly complex and bill splits are a much better option given everyone is in Monzo.
What would be the point then?
When your group hit the holiday savings goal, if you can only take out your share, you might as well save it in your own personal pot with interest.
Then, to pay for the holiday, each person would have to withdraw and transfer their money for someone to pay for it.
Same applies with this. One person could wipe out the entire pot

This idea just begs the question: who legally owns the money in the pot? If it belongs to everybody, then itâs a joint account, and one person can spend the lot, as already mentioned. If you only own the amount youâve put in, and nobody else can spend it, then thereâs no point to having the pot; you might as well all just save up separately.
