External Savings Pots No Longer Offered

first direct or co-op?

I’m feeling it’s time for me to partially move some savings away from Monzo as well, especially now that my 4.11% pot will now be paying just 3.37%.

Co-op! (just a warning to others you need a current account first, which does a hard search), but I’m just going to add on my saving pots amounts as I get a maximum of £250 to add in each month and I won’t be getting close to that amount yet.

I’ll be cancelling my max membership if this the new way they are doing this I want external pots and pots with next day withdrawals

External savings pots let you schedule withdrawals.

Monzo instant access savings pots don’t.

Loss of that functionality would be a real pain.

We can hope they add scheduled withdrawals to their instant access accounts once this has settled down then.

RIP the marketplace idea?

I can see how this change simplifies savings pots now.

Had the same email about my Oaknorth pot, to the same interest rate.
Nothing yet regarding my 4.00% Paragon, 4.09% or 4.12% Shawbrook ones.

Glad the team over on X were able to close this one off for me
