Hi all, is there a way to remove a large payment on behalf of others from spending tab?
For example if you pay for business expenses or a group holiday?

Hey all,
I use my Monzo card mainly because of how it makes budgeting easy, providing immediate feedback and visibility.
One major problem I have is when I make a purchase that doesn’t fit in my monthly budget, and makes no sense to track in that flow. Several people have suggested this about purchases they later receive from friends- what I suggest is far simpler, and goes a large way to solving the problem.
If we could mark an expense so that it should not be included in your monthly spending tracker, then that would make this all so much easier. Several times I avoid using my Monzo card because I don’t want that expense on the spending report- if I could mark the purchase to be ignored, then this wouldn’t be an issue.

Any updates on this? 
We really need a way of marking some transactions to not count on the budget. Biggest example is personal transfers, if I transfer £300 to my Lloyds Account, that does’t mean I’ve destroyed my budget for the month.
That could be either achieved by the “Expenses” category not counting for the budget, or by adding a new category called “personal” or similar.
Also, If I pay something and someone pays me back with monzo.me, it would be perfect if those paybacks were reduced from the money spent count.
I believe this is the only thing making the budgeting feature incomplete, and in a way, less useful.

Any update on whether this feature is being released? I’d find it very useful as I travel a lot for work. It makes no sense that business expenses that will be reimbursed are affecting my target? (I’d say this is also true of holidays / other things that you may have separate savings accounts for).
