As from the 17th July 2025 we have started seeing Monzo bank accounts pass Equifax Bank account Verification and Equifax Financial Stability tool.
We believe this is because Monzo is now reporting into CATO (Current Account Turnover). Could someone confirm this is the case?
This has always been the case, for years, however it’s only new for the agencies to have this visible to customers.
not sure if it makes a difference, but we are a business. Either way I guess what you are saying is that this is not a Monzo change, this is an Equifax change.
I think business has always reported it - consumer is a more recent addition.
