Emma copying Monzo’s payment tab (or other way round)?

Hi all, new here and to Monzo. Loving it so far. As part of taking control of my finances more, I also downloaded Emma - the budgeting app. Other than its horrendous UX, I couldn’t help but feel the payments tab was all too familiar. The results are kinda astonishing. Some strings are word for word - including “ask someone for money you’re owed”.

Thoughts?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

It does look like a blatant copy, but I’m not surprised as the UX of the Monzo app is still years ahead of most other banking/finance apps

It’s likely Emma copied as it then makes the platform familiar to people and probably results in better engagement.
