I think Monzo should work on a dedicated emergency fund built into your account.
Projections linked to your monthly bills and outgoings, suggesting the size of the pot needed to cover these would be cool.

I’d be really interested to know how you see this working in terms of accessibility! How would you unlock the emergency funds? Maybe this could work nicely with the idea of being able to delegate the use of your account to someone else in extenuating circumstances?
I don’t think it’d be mandatory/locked-down, just a projection and a pot, so you could isolate the money you needed to make it to next payday

Sounds like the (accepted, I think) suggestion for ‘virtual savings’ buckets/accounts - if you stuck whatever your bills come to in a ‘Bills’ bucket each month, bootstrapped it with double, and then paid your bills from that bucket.
