Duplicate upcoming scheduled pot transfers in main feed

Issue: I have a monthly pot transfer of £9.99 on 14th of every month. On the 14th, it says there is an upcoming transfer of £9.99 today, and it says there is an additional upcoming transfer of £9.99 tomorrow. In the pot detail, I can clearly see only one scheduled transfer.

And only one transfer will be made (I have the same experience every month). So this is an issue with the main feed displaying a duplicate.

(I reported this in chat to CS, but they don’t understand the issue, and keep telling me “we can’t stop a scheduled transfer” lol. I’m not asking to stop anything, I’m saying there is a display error).

Details to reproduce: Set a monthly scheduled transfer from pot to main account, on the day of the transfer, the main feed says the transfer is due today AND tomorrow.

If you remove Pot movements from your activity feed does it solve the problem?

Looks like one is the scheduled move from your account, the other is saying it’s receiving the funds tomorrow. A bit like paid early.

how would i do that?

Home Screen, three dots next to all activity, remove the Pot.

Is this a scheduled withdrawal from a third party (Oaknorth, Shawbrook, etc.) savings pot? If so, this happens for me with all. Scheduled withdrawals.

If it is, and you close the pot, you won’t be able to reopen it as third party pots can no longer be opened.

Monzo’s own savings pots don’t allow scheduled withdrawals, but standard (non-interest) pots do.

Thank you, tried that but it’s still showing

It is, yes

I was gonna sak this too. Based on the fact it says “Easy Access” and not “Instant Access”.

I do thing this is a UI bug, but it could be due to the fact that when you schedule the withdrawal, you are asking Monzo to request the money from the provider on that day (This will be the “today” one), but Easy Access Pots don’t give you the money that day, and you get it the next working day instead, so then you have the “Tomorrow” item as that is when the money will actually hit your account.

Exactly this I think. It’s always been an issue and never fixed.

Yes that makes logical sense as to what they were thinking when they coded it. But then the “Upcoming: £19.98” is wrong because it’s double the amount that is actually upcoming.

And also i don’t understand why it’s still displaying double when i unchecked the pot from the feed settings.
