There’s a thread discussing Curve in general you might have more info in:
The package on Curve Metal though, are very different to that of FlexPlus; I imagine the Travel is broadly similar, but the Phone Insurance is very different.
Curve = Gadget Insurance, up to £800. Flex Plus = Phone Insurance, up to £1500. I can’t find the Curve t’s and c’s but I recall they also have an upper limit on total gadget claims, and I recall Flex has some limitation on gadgets in it’s Travel Insurance package.
Curve does have other benefits, like Car Hire Excess, and Airport lounges, and FlexPlus covers the entire family- so quite different packages all in.
I’ve just spent a week trying to get them to replace my lost card. I just received identical acknowledgements of receipt of messages (in-app and by email) and an assurance that they would respond to me “if appropriate”. I hate myself for doing this, but within an hour of putting a message on Friendface a week later (on a Sunday!), I received a response and an order of a new card. Apparently the delay is because they have “record numbers of queries”. From elsewhere, I gleaned that they’d switched staff away from dealing with customer queries to promoting the relaunch.
So, plugging a product you have insufficient staff to deal with…
Been using curve with NatWest for ages. No charges for purchases at all.
Don’t understand why people use Monzo cards for anything to be honest. I’m still yet to use mine. Monzo need to come up with a rewards credit card ASAP.
Monzo - as far as I recall - offer a better exchange rate for purchases abroad than Curve do. They certainly offered better rates for Polish Zloty when I was there.
Oh and Curve just deleted a welter of negative comments from their forum (whilst admitting elsewhere they were struggling with numbers and customer service requests). Additionally,.their in-app message service presently isn’t working, as is one of their two email addresses for Customer Services.
I added my voice to the negative comments in the last few days after finding out they upped the price of lounge access from £15 to £20.
No notice or anything. The FCA COB rules, which, as sellers of packaged insurance products Curve have to adhere to, must inform you in advance of any material change to a service or product which deviates from the original agreement. They are also required to give you an opportunity to opt out of your agreement if it no longer meets your needs. They didn’t, so I’ve complained.
Since when did Curve change lounge access to £20? Someone said the same happened with Revolut over on their forum but it is still £15 it seems, no changes.
I tried Curve but it always seemed to be down or experiencing issues. Rather embarrassing when at the till. Perks seem good for prices offered and cashback but the basics need to be sorted first.

I wonder why it keeps doing it. The code has started making fashion choices as it always does it on shopping merchants… nope you shouldn’t be buying that
