Crowdcube have emailed today to advise:

"Like most businesses, current economic conditions have forced us to review our pricing. With this in mind, our investment fee will increase to 2.49% on February 1st.

We have not taken this decision lightly, but higher operating costs have made it unavoidable.

The investment fee, which is now subject to a minimum of £2.49 and remains capped at a maximum of £250, is collected when the payment for your investment is processed by Crowdcube… "

Does that mean if Crowdcube hold Monzo shares on your behalf you have to pay the above particularly as most investors have small shareholdings often comprising of one share only or is it only paid for any shares purchased in the future.

This is, I think, for new investments going forward.

Surely they couldn’t backdate it!
