I have been really enjoying the AMA thread too, Its nice for Community Members to be able to see the insights. I know alot of us were worried that things have changed over the years and Monzo is not as Transparent but that doesnt seem to be the case in my opinion.
I couldnt agree with you anymore, sometimes a comment on a thread could be mis-worded or not intentionally made to cause offense or derail a topic. Sometimes when things are reported, slow mode or topics temporarily closed for minor things can cause alot of disruption alone.

If you are a moderator (CC) you have to be actively lurking and reading everything otherwise you won’t see topics start to veer off topic or guidelines being broken, unless someone notifies you at which point it may be too late. Watching at all (reasonable) times would be the most important prerequisite for the role.
It is a nicer place here though now. The reins have been well and truly pulled which is great. I remember the November '19 period which was a bit dark, but the community came out of that one OK until the lockdown of 2021
Not trying to dredge up bad memories, but the period around the first iteration of Plus, the release of the accounts last year and the day of the database outage all feel worse to me still
Although strangely, if you look at the group, Nicola (and Jonas) have an empty space, rather than ‘Primary’, next to their details. Everyone else has the ‘Primary’ entry.
It’s almost as strange as the discourse clock…
