Difficult when all your contributions are being hidden within seconds. That said I’ve flagged said posts up now and they’re still there.
I appreciate what you’re saying, but I don’t think that’s a good enough reason to disallow somebody to at least put right when another user makes a totally incorrect assertion about your personal intentions when corresponding.
Further - the original post which was hidden by the community appears directly beneath @N26throwaway’s in the chain.
In a decent debate nobody should have the right to make personal accusations of the other without that person at least getting the chance to put the record straight about their intentions. It’s poor debate conduct in the first place but allowing someone to do it and then hiding the other’s responses is incredibly poor community stewardship.
Agree completely with this. I could piece it together if needed to but it really undermines the point I’m trying to make here not just having a transparent log of it.

But I understand it’s already been cleared away by an admin as off-topic. Not sure why it’s still being discussed; I don’t think there’s anything further anyone can do about this issue.

Monzo used to have a merch store between 2016-20 but closed it. I don’t think it was that busy..

I have a turd which will not flush.
Anyone know how to get rid of this?
Tapping it goes to a page not found message.
Pressing dismiss and do not track has no effect.
I’ve tried on the website and in the app and on various devices.

There are 6 threads in the community that will do this. This is one of them.
They never used to show but then I think someone quoted the thread and merged it so some replies got put on it and then it was changed.
I don’t know what happened but before that quoting it never did it.
Edit: I actually messaged the moderators at the time:
I think essentially the thread was merged with the one I quoted which had 34 replies on already but then deleted so the 34 replies are now on the thread that “doesn’t exist”

If the TL;DR is that there’s nothing to be done, then that’s what I’ll do.

Haha yes essentially.
The thread was closed/deleted and not available. A moderator found a post that was similar (about young accounts) and merged the thread + 34 replies with the closed/deleted thread. Thus now the closed/deleted thread has 34 replies nobody can read and therefore will always be showing as unread.
For info, these are the 6 closed/deleted threads that you cannot access. They are the only ones on the community:

I split it to the wrong one and then sent that to the right one… eventually 
I promise it was an accident - so is it just stuck in your notifs?

I had the same issue and eventually fixed it.
On this screen tap on the button with the 3 dots and 3 lines next to them.
Then check the box that appears, and then I think there should be a button along the lines of unfollow.
If that doesn’t work (because it didn’t for me), tap on the ‘News & Updates’ link just under the topic title, sort by unread, and then do the same again with the 3 dots and 3 lines button.

I’ve always had them there. Only if I go to the “Unread” section though. Didn’t know you could get rid of them at all.
I think you’d read everything though? If you read them before they closed I guess you wouldn’t see it?

I’ve done it!!!
After pressing “dismiss” I was ticking the box to stop tracking this thread.
The trick was to not tick that box.
