My general conclusion is that they aren’t practical.
I used to have to pay holding the back of the chip to the terminal.
ATMs or paypoints scratch them.

What’s the card holder you are using? I like.
It’s the first gen of the Machine Era card holder, not sure where/if it’s still sold annoyingly! -https://www.blessthisstuff.com/stuff/wear/wallets/machine-era-wallet/
EDIT: They do a new version: Ti5 Slim Wallet | Titanium – Machine Era
Must. Resist.
That is a s£xy looking card.
I may have to call off my wedding at this rate.
Also, can’t say s£xy.
I’ve a very old standard savings account, I just requested one in the branch and the banker said they’d get one ordered.
Not a big Lloyds fan but that is jolly nice.
It’s a much nicer card in digital form. The real version looks a little tacky in some lighting conditions. On mine you can see a decal line around the Mastercard logo for instance.
one of these was auto issued to my brother when he CASSed to NatWest but kept his savings account with santander
Mine too. The Mastercard logo looks awful.
Do they. I can’t say I’ve ever noticed it on any card previous, such as Monzo, HSBC etc. It’s not terrible, just at times noticeable.
Chase has that sticker look. Maybe it’s only on the cards with the silvery MC logo?
It must be then. It doesn’t look too bad and you have to almost angle the card to spot it really.
My Monzo Max card is the same, though the replacement is better than the original they sent.
That is NICE!!!
I’m absolutely convinced this is the way Monzo are aiming to shutter the forum by censoring normal words to such a level it happens naturally through sheer frustration at this point.
