But why is ‘credit’ in a different font on the Apple Pay version? Consistency, people!
It’s strange. On the physical card both are in the Mastercard font but the Apple Pay version has ‘Credit’ in the Santander font.
How come you’ve got two RBS premiers? Or is one the app that does the benefits?
The one on top is the official app (with the ugly white line at the side) and the bottom is the one I created as a shortcut.
How do you create the logo and then make it so it actually shows as the icon please? Is it through shortcuts or something?
Didn’t even know you could do this
Yes, it’s done through the Shortcuts app - it’s simple. Tap the plus icon at the top, choose “Open App,” and then add it to your Home Screen. You’ll be prompted to choose an image, which you can select from your gallery.
The physical one is probably my favourite card I’ve ever owned.
I haven’t received the physical one yet but I read somewhere it doesn’t have card numbers like the Chase card, is that correct?
I prefer numberless cards.
Much prefer that than the green one. ![]()
I got fraudently debited in USD for a small amount. They refunded me quickly. The card just remains frozen and if I use it I’ll transfer what I need otherwise the balance is about £10 currently.
Couldn’t resist it, so I’ve one too now.
Their ‘instant’ bank transfers seem to take 20 minutes or so.
In the small print, seems they do 0.6% cashback which isn’t bad.
It’s also quite clever in that if you circle a person’s face it pixelates it for privacy.
replying to myself here because I had a look into it and knew I hadn’t imagined it - they did indeed use other smiles:
which itself feels like it could have been influenced by this collection of smiles released as stamps in the 1990s

That was an insane idea and I do not know how people didn’t get into much trouble due to this.
Though, hiding card number and things probably helped
I have been wondering if I should get a smile account and card before they get completely closed.
