Collected Thoughts on Card Design (Part 2)

But yours is probably just an error. It’s not a common thing, these cards were ages ago now.

Can confirm phone numbers are on there.

So they tried something once and reverted :man_shrugging:t2:

These cards were years back, there’s no question about the telephone number being on them. They are on all cards except the few in this test period.

My Flex and Joint cards have the number, but my Current card does not. I’ve never thought about it until this thread.

Are you saying it isn’t a conspiracy that Monzo just decided to not put a number on Jo’s card?

Surely it doesn’t matter whether the number is there or not, as they (allegedly) never answer the phone.

My (replacement) Max card doesn’t have a phone number :grimacing:

Flex does though.

What’s their number, is it found on the back of a Monzo card?

Hadn’t noticed until now that the blue card doesn’t have a notch. Will report back on the :disco: after my youngest’s birthday. (Thankfully they’ve all agreed on different colours.)

I like rainbows and colourful things, but damn those card are ugly

Also they don’t go with the black and silver aesthetic of my physical and digital wallet. Wouldn’t mind a black Monzo card tho

Most UK banks offer a black/silver card if you have the right account :face_with_hand_over_mouth: So plenty of choice

If I wanted a neon duck yellow aesthetic I think I would be stuck with Monzo

You’ll get through to the upside down Police :police_car:

I tried to find reasons so get rid of it but couldn’t. So for now it’s the odd one out …

What other gold cards are in the UK? That I can remember there’s the Smile gold credit card, which I swear I’ve seen someone in my house

The majority of my cards are black and silver (platinum). Amex is black, Coutts Charge is slate grey.

Two cards which are not are my Coutts Debit which is a multi coloured pattern.

Arbuthnot Debit which is royal blue.

Do I have the right accounts? Who knows…

-Lloyds Gold Credit and Debit
-First Direct Gold (originally gold now black)
-NatWest Premier Charge Card Gold (now legacy product)
-HSBC Gold Credit Card (now legacy product)
-Citi Wealth Debit (legacy product)

That’s all I can briefly remember.

I love the look of the Coutts debit card.

It certainly catches a few eyes when in use!

As does the Amex Centurion (mainly with fellow Amex holders who know of the product)
