Collected Thoughts on Card Design (Part 2)

It’s been around a while, only works with crypto balances.

The Crypto virtual cards, and the normal Physical and Virtual cards can be set to charge your fiat account or crypto balances interchangeably - so I’d think that would be the same for the LED card too.

I’m not paying for it to find out though :joy:

The doge one only works with crypto apparently.

The article stays it can be used for real money, but maybe that’s a Germany specific thing

Not sure I’ve seen anybody post the LHV UK card. Fully licensed UK neobank that is owned by the Estonian parent of the same name. You can select from many colour schemes when setting up.

As for the app & bank brand, it’s very minimalist and the design feels a bit like mid-2010s than what other Neo banks are doing.

There’s a dedicated thread for it. A previous version used to have the cards as well but sadly was lost alongside others due to a completely different kettle of fish.

The packaging for the Krak card is on the more premium side (UK relative) mimicking similar slide out packaging such as seen with Revolut, HSBC Premier, and Chase UK

I’d let you stay at mine

Edit: I really hope you were referencing the office or this comment is going to seem very strange.

Industrial Bank of China’s “全球Plus金卡” (All Earth Plus Gold Card). UnionPay version because it seems that Mastercard doesn’t support Apple Pay yet, although I’ve seen that they’re working on it.

No FX fees and 2% cashback abroad. Most importantly, the Mastercard version means I no longer have to send money back to UK to go to Japan/Korea etc

N26 offers a free virtual card, whereas Revolut provides a physical card for approximately £9.20. Neither is heavily advertised; I suspect this is because linking them to the World Cup would result in fees being charged by FIFA and Visa.

The irony of N26 offering an England card when they don’t operate here anymore :downcast_face_with_sweat:

They’ve got both Visa and MasterCard version, and the platinum one will charge 1888 yuan annual fee.:eyes:

Just received my ABC Global payment platinum MasterCard / Visa signature credit :eyes: register on ABC app for 3% cashback and Visa/MasterCard WeChat mini programme for extra rebate on Apple pay spending :face_savoring_food:

Yeah, I don’t remember what the additional benefits of the Platinum card were but I just remember they weren’t worth it personally

It offers maximum ¥500 cashback (¥200 for the gold card) and global railway/airport lounge access.:eyes: And the special feature of ICBC is that once people apply for its multi currency credit card, ten accounts appear on their credit reports:joy:, but it’s OK.

Like airline lounges? Next credit card for me would be one that provides some sort of benefit on Star Alliance/OneWorld flights

Like the American cards that give you gold status or something.

Still not massively interested in those priority pass/lounge key cards
