Also love the idea they might email me about it.
I’d probably assume they just mean any new products you’ll get a marketing email.
Can’t imagine they’ll scrape through the barrel and be like yep, this person asked about this 9 months ago, let’s email them and tell them.
The fact they amended the Amex branding fairly recently without touching the rest of the card; my gut is nothing else will change any time soon… hope I’m wrong tho.
I know I’m old and my eyesight is not great, but my new Monzo card is very hard to read!
(Unlike my new MBNA Horizon card which is extremely readable)
Expiry dates and CVVs on my joint account and business account cards are tiny. To the point that I’ve got the CVV wrong on several occasions.
Well at least it’s not me. It’s numbers like 0s and 9s that look very similar.
Shaking my walking stick… “I’m 59 you know!”
So this came as a surprise:
Is this the first unembossed Nectar Amex in the wild?!
(I think it’s the same basic card stock, just with the number printed on the back in grey.)
(For the record the Apple Pay image still has the old Amex wordmark. I’ve tried deleting and re-adding.)
It’s definitely the same bit of plastic underneath.
Excellent news! Looks weird without details on the face but this’ll leave just one embossed card in my wallet.
Forward is Birmingham’s motto, and Lloyds is a Brummie company so it makes sense the horse finally looks forward. ![]()
Is that forward into bankruptcy ![]()
Alot of it is people on this forum saying “new card design (maybe…)” so I order a new one ![]()
A new one from Panama and Guatemala. Lulubit is a cryptocurrency wallet that had a debit card that allows you to pay using Bitcoin. Nice simple design.

Surprised how much I like the white border around the MC logo.
I’m waiting to get accepted in the beta programme for the Metamask card, granted that i have £1.59 worth of eth
