Presumably if you get HSBC HK you aren’t covered by various things such as the FOS and FCA etc.?

Looking at the Account and the Mastercard you get with it, it has ot a 0.4% Cash Rebate (Cashback) which doesnt seem to have a cap or time limit.

What did you enter as the ‘TIN’ is this your national insurance number?
Also app isn’t clear when scanning the passport, did you make your photo page fill the black box, or the whole 2 pages of the passport?

Yes in the uk the Tax Identification Number is the National Insurance Number

National Insurance Number and just take the photo page, I mean that’s what I did.

Okay wow that was quick! Account opened! Feels kinda cool having an account open in Hong Kong never know when you might need it. It also looks like it will sync nicely with the UK accounts I hold - next step, order card!
