Collected thoughts on card design (Part 1)

The HSBC Canada Metal World Elite was badass. Only HSBC UAE has a similar design for their Global Private Banking Credit Card.

Wonder how it looked in person.

Metal card?

The US Elite card is still offered and the same exact metal design as the Canadian one.

That portrait one looks nice though. I wonder if they’ll redesign to that eventually in the US.

Small fun fact. The name Stephen N Stitt refers to the two stone lions located in front of HSBC’s Hong Kong office, one named Stephen and the other Stitt.

The only Canadian metal card I’ve seen is the same exact design as the USA one (with the brushed metal imagine in the logo).

The black on black version of the Canadian (and UAE) I’ve only seen in digital and not in real cards.

It might be a Private Bank version that’s not advertised to the public.

Premium Metal Payment Cards & Cutting-Edge Technology (composecure.com)
The glass card looks so nice (though I imagine the durability is not amazing and that it is expensive for a company to order these cards).
The dynamic CVV card is also cool.

I am very worried to know what the pricing would be like for these cards lmao

The Composecure cards look really nice but who sold them that logo? It looks like the Airbus one rotated a bit.

If you had to choose which one looked best.

Would have to agree. Really like that HSBC card to be honest

It just kind of endlessly bothers me that they couldn’t make the logo ever so slightly smaller so the chip didn’t cut into it.

Other than Curve and Revolut, where else can I obtain a metal card?

Still not found my white metal (though activated the Max card now anyway).

And then be on the hook for every fraud, because you sent your BANK CARD to some random off Instagram.
