I don’t need a new CC right now, but if I did I’m shallow enough to do it for this card. A really nice design.

I like it! Fingers crossed the platinum [cashback everyday] card gets an update as well.
Interestingly the Amex website still shows the old design for the rewards card.
You register on Avis/Hertz/etc. in their President status with Visa Infinite or World Elite. This entitles you to a range of benefits including 15% discount, 10k included km, 23c/km over that, free second driver, guaranteed upgrade and some others (exact offers vary between the companies).
Similarly on hotel sites you get Gold status which in turn gets a free upgrade, and things like included breakfast and better cancellation terms (varies with the hotel chain).
You might be able to do similar on some airlines.

I’m tempted - really nice colour!
That card seems to have approx 0.5% cashback - 10,000 points for £50 M&S gift card, therefore 2 points = 1 penny. 1 point earned per pound spent. 0.5p back per pound spent.
Does this card give cashback on all kinds of payments, including university tuition fees please? If so, I’d also qualify for the 10,000 points for 2,000 spend reward so might be worth getting.
Is the income requirement still £20k does anyone know please?

That purple design is two iterations old.
Weird as they’ve gone all–in on all the other cards and everywhere else. I’ll bet it had a larger stock of unused old design to get through.

The cool part is the visa infinite which we don’t see very often in uk. Zing just sounds like something I’d add to my food to make it more lemony

Mine arrived too, weirdly with a customs label on the envelope as it came from Germany. Wasn’t sure what it was at first.
Every single HSBC cards I’ve got my hands on so far - tempted to get first direct to finish the collection.

Before Global Money account - HSBC expat will give out one sterling card and one dollar card. There were also free AMEX ICC green cards available.
I thought “we are the same bank” is pretty much the story HSBC tries to tell from the uniformed design.

Nice collection. The world elite card looks really nice, I plumped for the purple premier credit in the end.
I love the private banking debit - anyone fancy making me a trust fund owner so I can apply for one. Not too sure I fancy lying and then having my accounts closed down as a result.
My Zing card hasn’t arrived as yet, I’m hoping it does before the wife finds out.

Personally I never had a problem telling the debit from credit. Premier and private banking do look similar, but the PB card will never be used realistically and does not need a different design.
I suspect HSBC knows this. Otherwise, I found it hard to explain the lack of Apple Pay and the decision to not issue cards in Guernsey at all. Granted, for private banking customers, they will not get away with the system they used for HSBC Expat & their Crown Dependencies personal accounts – where the cards are issued onshore by the head office of HSBC Bank plc.
