Childs Account, Unable to set up.

Hi first time here, I joined Monzo yesterday for the purpose of setting up one for my son. however the option is not there, I only have the four other options, credit card / joint account / business account / other bank accounts.

Ive also tried setting up on his phone and sending the link to me via whatsapp but it just says something went wrong try again later…

Still no success.

Does anyone know how to restore the under 16 account option in the + page.

I don’t think Child Accounts are available to everyone yet.

As it says on the website, “Coming soon”. There’s also a button to join the waiting list,

They are definitely available now… my friends have them set up for their kids.

My wife managed to get one set up this morning for him.

AFAIAA it’s a phased roll-out, so some will have the option and others won’t just yet.
