And the banks and businesses take the win.
Mentioned the 15 days for payment services and they have miraculously transferred the refund to my current account.
Thanks for the heads up itās much appreciated
Just like magic
haha
Do you use Chase or just had it for the card?
I stopped using it when they changed the criteria for cashback ages ago but had the Credit Card for using abroad and the 18 months 0% offer. Canāt see me using Chase again so may well just close it as got Monzo or Revolut for use on holiday and also got Lloyds Ultra for cashback and zero fx
Genuinely not bothered if I canāt go back
Update - Request to close Chase has been submitted
Thereās something about never being allowed back that would put me off closing it fully.
That said, using it for the cashback and itās a nice little Ā£240 a year earner.
Until they nerf the offer Iāll stay.
If it works for you then thatās great and like you say you max out the cashback
I canāt abide what has been incompetent customer service like I have experienced this last week and as a grumpy old man Iāve took my ball home
Yeah I pray I donāt need to use their customer service.
Iāll keep the credit card after my 0% ends for bigger purchases or using abroad - a 56 day window to pay the balance isnāt bad.
If Chase brought back the 18 months interest free Iād probably take the card out. Until then, waiting for Revolut to launch theirs to see how it stacks up
Could have saved it for a switch back into Starling when itās available. ![]()
So my 0% introductory offer ended, then today Chase emailed to say they can increase my credit limit. First notification Iāve received for an increase to my limitā¦
Is the Chase limit higher than Monzo £10k?
I was offered £12k for Chase CC.
Highest people got when it opened was £15k.
Yeah they confirmed 15k is the max limit
Quick question: Does the Chase Credit Card allow a secondary card and if both main cardholder and secondary cardholder are Chase customers, who gets what notifications?
I didnāt get an increase of 10K (or above), but I know some that have got it.
Chase are the gift that keeps on giving ![]()
So I got an email earlier from JP Morgan Portal that they were sharing a letter with me about my complaint which is fair enough.
Logged in and downloaded the letter which said they had re-opened the complaint and would get in touch with me within 15 working days
So gets a phonecall from the person who had āsentā me the letter and they said I had to go through security and could I confirm name, address etc.
So the letter they had sent had my address as
Number, Street, Town as the first line
but it should be Number then Street as first line with town on the next one below
So I said it was number, street and then town on next line and then post code only for them to tell me I had failed security and they couldnāt speak to me and the call would need to end ![]()
Chase appear to have gone rapidly downhill by way of customer service
This will end up with the Ombudsman based on how poor they are handling this
Why would you say ānumber street town with ānext lineāā though? Struggling to see how the orientation would matter verbally.
12 Smith Street, London
And:
12 Smith Street,
London
Verbally are said the same, no?
I guess I understand wanting your address to read as you wish but presumably the way the letter formatted it was what they were after so just say it that way.
I dont care how it reads but clearly Chase do which is wild
The address is the same whichever way it reads
The person from Chase clearly had other ideas
