Categories Fail To Save

Attempting to set categories on repeating transactions however after selecting a new category and hitting save always get an error suggesting category cannot be saved.

Any ideas how to get around this?

Using the app on Android.

Usually when odd things like this happen reinstalling the app sorts it.

  • Delete the app.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Reinstall the app.

Sadly that doesn’t work in this scenario.

Keeps suggesting it cannot save categories. It’s a bit annoying but I can live with it. Would be handy if it were fixable however.

Are you setting it on a previous transaction or a future one?

Looks to happen mostly on transactions in the commited spending although it does sometimes happen on previous ones.
