I wish mine weren’t so distant. They were rescue both around 10 weeks old or so.

The older used to sleep nearby but very very rare now.

Don’t worry about it - if a cat is happy to sleep in the same room as you then it trusts you Ours can be snuggling up one day and pretty much ignoring us the next (until they want food, ofc).

Well, he was called Socks when we adopted him at 10 weeks, they told us he was a girl, and didn’t think to look at his bits til he got his jabs and the vet said it’s a real boy.
