My dog happened to be asleep, for once, the other day and my boss was like “that’s the stillest I think I’ve ever seen her”
It’s become part of what to expect on calls with me these days. As it should be I think.

Hard same. My cat goes out on the balcony, moans that it’s cold. Comes back and shouts at me some more to somehow make it warmer

Boots won’t go out (we don’t let him anyway cuz he will do a runner).
Max will go out but stays in the garden, but since it’s been minus figures he moans to go out, then moans to come back in 20 seconds later😅

This is so sad 
ours are both rescue but kittens so nowhere near the same scale as yours, or older cats.
When we went to get Max it was from a big rescue with alsorts of animals there and loads and loads of cats. I’d have walked away with a few if other half wasn’t there.
Boots was arranged from a foster who just dropped him* off one day for a trial and he never left.
*They thought he was a she and used to be called Socks 
I never thought to check her bits cuz it’s a weird thing to do… But the vet said yep there’s his balls. And that was that.

Just use a cat flap programmed to a chip, no fighting street cat gonna get in then. Unless it’s got a lock picking set.

I’d never get a flap anyway, I like to know where they are. Would be good if they both went outside to do their business but can’t trust little one, as we live near a main road.

Our dog loves the snow. I think it was a husky in a previous life. Plus it’s white so it blends in super well
