Plenty of room to play though. R-

Haha yeah, he loves it in the garden come rain or shine. Have to chase him round when we want him in.

Or the old dreamies trick at the door.

Very unimpressed with the heat.

We’ve tried putting out ice, but she doesn’t seem to like it! We have a fan or the air-conditioning going all the time now just in case she gets over-heated.

The vet did say she shouldn’t need as much water since she’s on a raw diet, but she’s quite resistant to drinking more water in general :joy: We mix it in with treats sometimes to get her to drink! She likes yoghurt too so might try freezing that.

Bonus pic of her stretched out on the floor :relaxed:

I always think our cat don’t drink much but I’m forever filling his water bowl.

If we get water from the tap, I can guarantee within 5 mins if I walk back to the kitchen he’s in the sink licking the tap :weary:

Chester doesn’t drink water that much from what I see… but I always empty and refill at least twice a day because of the stagnant water, I want to get one of those little water fountains but knowing my look he like bite the wire.

Ah my fella is always going on about a water fountain. Just more mess for the cat to make :joy:

Definitely get a water fountain, cats drink a lot more from a fountain in my experience, which is great for their health.

Also put it in another room or at least pretty far away from the food and the litter.

He prefers to just drink out of our glasses when we aren’t looking. Sometimes has the cheek whilst right in front of us :joy:

Yeah mine used to do that before we got the fountain! Used to drive me nuts, I was forever filling up a new glass just to see it being stolen again

I love how spoilt and picky cats are.

Won’t drink from this, will drink from that, prefers a glass etc etc. but will still drink from a puddle.

Haven’t caught him down the toilet yet :joy: he does sit in the bath though whenever I’m in the bathroom. Must be cool for him.

Mine also watches me in the shower, I can’t leave him behind a closer door….

That’s great if it works for your cats! But generally I’d still recommend a fountain, cats in particular like running water. Also not all cats prefer cold water - mine will only drink at room temperature. So I guess it’s a classic case of know your cats!

Mine will run a mile from a hoover or hairdryer too though :joy:
