I use the export to google sheets option to track my spending as it is easier for me to monitor within my Excel budget. I link to the spreadsheet and it updates my actual spending in my budget with one click of a button splitting it by the categories I select day-to-day within the app. Very useful.
What I would like is to be able to import my monthly budgets into Monzo, because they vary from month-to-month and manually updating within the app is cumbersome.
Within Xero you can download a template budget .csv. This can be populated over a longer time horizon than a month and then uploaded and used for tracking each month.
The quarterly review can then happen in the spreadsheet but the daily tracking can happen as you spend. It reduces the friction of budgetting.
