I am not sure if this is already an option as I have had the card for one day, but it would be good to look at my spending per week as well as per month.

Welcome, both of you, to 
Monzo and the forum.
If you tap the search magnifying glass, just above the keyboard you’ll be able to filter by date, and select ‘this week’. This is on an iPhone (I don’t know if it’s the same way for Android)
It’s not - in Android you can only filter by text queries.
Great to know how to check weekly spending thanks. Can you also set weekly targets? I’m currently on maternity leave and being paid weekly so this would really help my budgeting
