I’m sure there’s a little while to go until we have full functionality for setting up standing orders in the Monzo app. However, what I’ve noticed using other banks is that S/Os termination conditions are usually only a specific date. So I can have a standing order that runs for a year and then stops. What I’d like to see is more variation on the base cases for terminating the standing orders.
For example, lets say I want to save £1000 in a savings account, I could set up a standing order that would terminate when it has transferred £1000 altogether. Alternatively, say I have an overdraft that I do not wish to go into, the standing order could terminate when my balance would go into the negative.
Not sure if this has been suggested yet as I’ve only just signed up. I could see myself using this functionality fairly frequently.
