Just noticed an AI insight come up. It took a good few seconds to crunch the numbers before adding a comment. Not sure it adds a huge amount of value and was a little surprised as I don’t remember opting into anything like this?
If it was just a summary, I don’t see any difference to other metrics Monzo provide (or any other bank). Monzo actually provide this visually at least with ‘Trends’. It’s just a text summary otherwise.
Why would you need to opt in?
I’m not seeing this (yet).
I do talks on how generative AI works … very clever stuff, but the downsides of its daily use outweigh the upsides (IMHO) so I will want to turn this off.
I would much prefer monzo focused on its unique selling points such as automations and procedural API.
